Owner/Coach - Oscar Lewis
I was born and raised in Refugio, TX. Home of the Refugio Bobcats...where winning Football games is a tradition and the fans are die-hard...GATA!
I am a lover of all sports...football, basketball, baseball, track...you name it. I am especially passionate about motivating young athletes to achieve their athletic and personal goals. I feel a higher power is guiding me to serve our community and others using something that I love...fitness & sports. I believe the success of our athletes often equates to community success.
After Coaching youth football and basketball for over 6 years, I began coaching track & field in the summer of 2012. I first coached my 2 sons, followed by volunteer/assistant coach roles with several Austin, TX area youth track & field programs.
While coaching track, I recognized the training principles used for track athletes were often transferable for endurance, power, speed & agility gains across most other sports. The excitement about seeing athletes achieve their goals, on and off the field, through hard work, effective coaching and perseverance compelled me to launch Taiger Fuel in late 2017. My goal with Taiger Fuel Athletics is to motivate, ignite confidence in and empower athletes to overcome fear and succeed as individuals and athletes.
Taiger Fuel Athletics is based in Austin, TX and serves youth ages 8-18, collegiate and professional athletes at all levels.
Let us help unleash your talent and empower you to accomplish the athletic goals you once thought were impossible!

Quincey joins Tiger Fuel Athletics as a seasoned sports and personal trainer from South Texas (Cuero/Victoria) where he formally became a trainer in 2014. Quincey's passion for sports, all things athletic and excited about helping athletes to achieve their goals motivated him, in 2014, to begin training others. His first clients were his younger brother and several relatives who participated in various high school sport activities. Four years later, his "little" brother is headed to the UT at Austin on a football scholarship (Fall 2018) and his relative to Texas A&M football (Fall 2018). Quincey has also empowered over 33 athletes to achieve Division 1/2 athletic scholarships over the last 4 years.
While he began with just a hand full of clients, Quincey leaves behind over 100 local and traveling athletes who participate in baseball, football, softball, golf, basketball, track, weight lifting, volleyball, calf roping, etc. as well as those who just want to live a healthier, fit lifestyle. Over the last 4 years, Quincey also uses his leadership role to mentor and help young athletes make positive life choices.
We are proud and excited to welcome Quincey to the Austin, TX area and to Taiger Fuel Athletics!
